Nadal: Sublime Spaniard - Wimbledon site

Several hours after enduring a 30-minute casualty over our gasoline-empty van trapped in the wilderness of Bacoor (SM Molino lang), I went online to browse websites about Rafael Nadal and his HUGE....... 2008 Wimbledon trophy.

It was for our sports journalism article. We were asked to write a feature about his winning streak on the world's most sought-after tennis championships.

When our female professor (note: don't underestimate girl power) stopped in front of us and said: "Gather materials about Rafael Nadal, you'll be writing a feature article about him next meeting," my face went from all smiles to HUWAAAAAT?!

Translation: WHO THE HELL is Rafael Nadal??? (note: the triple question marks). Sad to say, I don't have interests in tennis nor football. I know the game, thanks to nintendo and the family computer, but I don't know who's who in the tennis realm.

So I went on looking for Nadal and some write-ups and was glad to come across some photos ---- he wasn't that good-looking but he's got the bod. Whew! Muscles. And again, he should give credits to the grass court and all his opponents for giving him such great biceps.

And now here comes the unbelievable part. He was dubbed as "sublime". Whoa~where did Roger Federer went? The site should explain why Nadal qualifies for the sublime category of mortals on earth!!!

Let's present two of the members of the Sublime Gallery Hall of Fame: Beethoven and Jose Rizal, courtesy of Ms. Soriano from our Literary Criticism class. So where's Nadal? Wimbledon website says: INCOMING!

Try searching for his life story and maybe you'll be fascinated by his achievements. But for now, don't you think his Wimbledon trophy speaks enough?

Just reacted from the Wimbledon site remark.
